🎓 Sohojogi Foundation and the SDGs: Bridging Education and Equity

At the Sohojogi Foundation, our core belief is that education should never stop because of poverty. Every child deserves not just access to school but the support and certainty to stay in school. This belief closely aligns with two of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals—SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 1: No Poverty.

SDG 4: Quality Education
We work to ensure that children from underserved backgrounds receive uninterrupted education by connecting them with donors who sponsor one full year of their schooling in advance. This removes the fear of sudden dropout and allows students to learn with stability, dignity, and confidence. Our model goes beyond just funding—it brings mentorship, emotional support, and long-term encouragement to each child.

SDG 1: No Poverty
By investing in education, we are investing in the most powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty. Every student we support represents a future that can rise above financial struggle. We believe that educational support is not just charity—it’s a pathway to independence, dignity, and long-term economic upliftment.

At Sohojogi, we stand for the idea that one child’s uninterrupted education can change the future of a family, a community, and eventually, the world.
